AUTHORIZED O.S.H A. 10/30 HOUR TRAINER: Steven J. Owen has been
active in the electrical industry for over 34 years. Starting as an
Apprentice Electrician; working up to Superintendent, Project Manager,
Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Designer and Chief Code Analyst.
Steve has worked on projects ranging from one-person operations to projects in
which he was responsible for supervision of 550 electricians, and an electrical
budget of $25 million. Steve is certified as a National Electrical Code
Instructor and Sponsor for 33 states-AK, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, KY, MA, ME, MD, MI,
MN, MS, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM,NC, ND, OH, OK, OR,PA,SD, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI and WY: and numerous cities;
Steve is certified to teach General Contractor classes in LA: Professional Engineers
Continuing Ed. Classes in FL and numerous states. Steve has been sponsoring and instructing seminars
for Electrical License Exam Preparation for numerous states. Steve is certified as a Craft Instructor by NCCER and ABC of AL.
Steve has instructed for Bessemer State Technical College of Birmingham, AL. Steve is the OSHA Outreach
Instructor for Electrical Standards OTI-3095 and EST-7005 NFPA 70E for Georgia Tech, Atlanta,
GA. Steve has instructed for UAB-Birmingham, AL.: SouthEastern Electrification Council:
Lewellyn Technology, Linton, IN; (NTT) National Technology Tranfer, Denver, CO. Steve is
currently President and instructor for National Code Seminars(NCS).
